Privacy Policy

Who we are

VoltShades (operated by RM TRADING CO PTY LTD) is the seller responsible for your personal information on this site. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it. If you have questions, email support@voltshades.store.

What we collect

When you browse or order from us, we collect:

• Contact and order details you provide at checkout - name, email, shipping address, phone number
• Payment information, processed directly by our payment provider - we don't store your full card details ourselves
• Your email address, if you sign up through our on-site offer popup or otherwise opt in to marketing
• Basic device and browsing information - pages viewed, general location, browser type - collected automatically when you visit

How we use it

• To process and ship your order, and contact you about it
• To respond to support, warranty, and Zero-Ticket Guarantee claims
• To send marketing emails, if you've opted in - you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email
• To run and measure the performance of our advertising, including on Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

Sharing with third parties

We don't sell your personal information. We do share it with the services that help us run the store:

• Shopify, our ecommerce platform, which hosts the store and processes orders
• Our payment processor, to securely handle transactions
• Shipping carriers, to deliver your order
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising and measuring ad performance - this includes data shared via Meta's tools such as the Meta Pixel
• Google Workspace, for our business email

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing how they handle data on our behalf.

Cookies and tracking

Like most online stores, we use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure how visitors use the site and respond to our ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended if you disable them.

Data retention

We keep order and customer information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, meet our legal and tax obligations, and resolve any disputes. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email support@voltshades.store with your request and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe. Some information may need to be retained where required by law, such as records of a completed transaction.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
